From The PIT

From The PIT is a surreal, light horror platform game. It is an academic project by five first-time developers, built in four months using Unreal Engine 5.

Step into the shoes of a condemned prisoner trying to escape the pit. Keeping you company on this journey is the stoic head, Romeo.

From The PIT supports both keyboard and mouse, as well as controllers. Here are the controls:

Keyboard

WASD: Move 

Spacebar: Jump 

F: Drop Romeo 

E: Activate light sources 

Mouse: Look around 

Left Mouse Button: Use hook 

Right Mouse Button: Pick up Romeo

Controller

Left Thumbstick: Move 

Right Thumbstick: Look around 

LB: Pick up Romeo 

RB: Use hook 

X: Activate light sources 

B: Drop Romeo A: Jump 

Menu: Pause
